As routine Cast Resin Transformers are subject to the following factory testing prior to approval for dispatch

Routine testing

• Dielectric Withstand Test
• Induced Voltage Test
• Voltage Ratio Test
• No-load Current Measurement
• No-load Power Loss Measurement
• Winding Resistance Measurement
• Short Circuit Impedance Test
• Partial Discharge Test

To obtain the approval of these types of transformer units have been submitted to independent test houses for formal Type Testing. The following have been conducted

• Lightning Impulse Test *
• Temperature Rise Test *
• Acoustic Noise Level Test *
• Short Circuit Withstand Test
• Zero Sequence Impedance Test
• Condensation
• Condensation and Humidity Penetration
• Fire Behaviour

Facility is offered to customers to witness the routine tests and if required the three type tests marked with an asterisk.
