Carroll & Meynell stock air cooled variacs in both
single and 3 phase configurations rated up to 28 Amps
per phase. For higher rated variacs we can offer up
to 40 Amps per phase air cooled and up to 1000 Amps
per phase oil cooled custom built to order.
Typical ratings for oil cooled variacs are
50 / 60 / 75 / 100 / 150 / 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 /
600 Amps per phase
These figures are based on standard voltages of 240V
single phase input and 415V 3 phase input with the output
variable from 0-112% of the input
Alternative voltages are available on request
The units can be supplied for either manual operation
or motorized control.
